A large, copper funnel with brass tap. This is an interesting piece and it dates from c.1860. It is made from an exceptionally heavy gauge of copper and it is well made, with a castellated seam just beneath the widest part of of the funnel. The interior was originally tinned, so it was for food use, but this is now quite worn and there is only a little tin left. There is very slight pitting to the copper, otherwise, it is in good condition.
