An attractive, Davenport, green majolica glazed dish. This has an impressed mark “DAVENPORT” around an anchor with a number ’15’ above the anchor and it dates from c.1850. Originally this would have been a serving dish from a dessert service. It is very well moulded, with grapes and vines on a basket weave background, and it is in excellent condition.
