A small, 19th century, Welsh oak, spoon rack complete with seven 19th century wooden cawl spoons. The spoon rack is a very simple, but pleasing shape and the wood has a lovely, dark patina. It is three tiered and would hold a total of twelve spoons. It dates from.1840 and is in very good condition. There are just a few woodworm holes in the back but these have been treated and the worm is no longer active.

The spoons vary in size, date and woods but they are all 19th century and they are an interesting mix of styles and shapes. They vary in length from the shortest, which is 16.5cm. and has a turned end to the longest which is 29.5cm.
