Steel leather worker's tool

A very well made, 19th century, leather workers tool. This has a cast steel blade with an ebony handle and brass fittings. Around one of the rivets, which fixes the handle to the blade, is a brass fitting in the shape of a spade, the type used on playing cards. 

The piece is in excellent condition.
