Wrought iron herb chopper

An interesting, 19th century, herb or vegetable chopper with a wrought iron blade and a turned wooden handle. This is English and dates from c.1880. It was probably blacksmith made and the blade is thinly wrought into an interesting shape. 

There is pitting to the blade, from use, but otherwise it is in very good condition.

Dimensions: Width 13.6cm. Height 17.5cm. Diameter of handle 2.7cm.
