Steel herb chopper with brass handle

A nineteenth century, herb or vegetable chopper with a shaped steel blade and a brass handle. The blade to this chopper is attractively shaped. It is made from cast steel and the handle is tubular in form, with cast brass finials to the ends. It is English and it dates from c.1880.

There is very slight denting to the brass handle and there is slight pitting to the blade consistent with age and use.
