A miniature, Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip vase. This is impressed “WEDGWOOD” and it dates from c.1840. It is decorated with a band of classical subjects amongst trees and foliage. The reliefs are all very good quality and the jasper dip is a good, rich shade of blue. It is unusual to find miniatures of this period and this example is in excellent condition.
