Carved Sycamore Bread Knife

A Victorian bread knife with a well carved, sycamore handle. This dates from c.1870. The handle was deeply carved, with wheat against a stipple background, but the carving is now well worn from use. There is very slight pitting to the blade, from use, but other than this the piece is in very good condition.

Dimensions: Length 28.5cm. Width of blade 3cm. Diameter of handle 3cm.
