Parkin & Marshall Bread Knife

A good quality, Victorian bread knife with a carved wooden handle. The steel blade is marked “ XL ALL PARKIN & MARSHALL CUTLERS SHEFFIELD” and it dates from c.1880.  It is also engraved with harvesting scenes and the words “Bread Knife” in an ornate script. The handle is really well carved, in beech wood, with flowers and barley.

It is in excellent condition.
