A good quality, French copper stockpot. This is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper, and it dates from c.1870. It is stamped with a number ’24’ to both the side of the pot and also to the lid and this relates to the diameter of the piece in centimetres. It has the typical form of French, brass handles.
It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
