Pewter ice mould in the shape of a lemon

A small, pewter ice cream mould in the shape of a lemon. This is marked, in the casting to either side, with “L G 894”. L G is the mark of the French company Letang and 894 would be the pattern number. It dates from c.1880. The interior of the mould is very well detailed and naturalistically modelled. The mould is in very good, usable condition. The exterior has quite a dark patina and the interior is bright.
