A heavy, Victorian, cast brass pastry tool with a small wheel to one end and a cutter to the other end which is in a stylised leaf form. This is very well made and it dates from c.1870. The wheel was used for trimming the rim of a pie and the cutter was used for making shapes to ornament a pie. It is in very good condition although the cutter does not sit flat.
Dimensions: Length 11cm. Diameter of wheel 2.3cm. Length of cutter 4.2cm.
