Wedgwood, Heart Shaped Trinket Box

A Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip, heart shaped, trinket box. This would have been made for use as part of a dressing table set. It is marked “WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1920. The lid to the box is decorated, in relief, with a scene which is known as the “Cupid Seller” and this is surrounded by a border of flowers. There are individual, stylised flowers around the base of the box. The reliefs are all good quality and the jasper dip is a good, rich shade of blue.

It is in excellent condition.
