Creamware Salmon Plate

An attractive, early 19th century, creamware salmon plate. This is a lovely shape, and not one often found in creamware. It is much more typical of the silver shapes of the period. The creamware has a good, rich yellowy glaze and the plate is probably English dating from c.1820. It is in excellent condition.
