Grand Hotel Eastbourne Copper Mould

A small, Victorian copper jelly mould. This is marked “GRAND HOTEL EASTBOURNE” within a strap shaped cartouche and to the opposite side is a number ’11’. The Grand Hotel is a luxurious Regency hotel and this mould would have been made for use in the kitchens. The mould is made from a substantial gauge of copper, some of which has a planished finish, and it dates from c.1890. The deign consists of twelve dome topped columns divided by stiff leaves. It is in very good condition but the tinning, to the interior, is worn.
