Small, French Copper Preserve Pan

A small, French copper preserve pan or confiture. This is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it has the typical form of French brass handles to either side. It dates from c.1880 and is in very good condition. There is just slight marking to the copper in the base of the piece and there is a crease in the copper by one of the handles.

Dimensions: Diameter of pan 32.5cm. Depth 11.4cm. Width across the handles 39.2cm.  Total height including the handles 15.5cm.
