A pair of French silver hatelet skewers. These are an interesting, classical design involving stylised shells, and they have rings to the ends. They both have French silver hallmarks, but these are quite difficult to make out. Going by the style of the skewers I would expect them to date from c.1860 but they could be earlier.
They are both in very good condition but one ring is circular and the other is oval.
