Oval, Sycamore Breadboard

A nice quality, 19th century, oval sycamore breadboard. This is quite deeply carved with “Bread” and two  long leaves and the design within the leaves is chip carved. It dates from c.1880. The board is in excellent condition and the wood has a lovely, rich honey coloured patina.
