1920's Sycamore Breadboard

A sycamore breadboard dating from the 1920’s. This is chip carved with stylised flowers and leaves to the border. The wood has a honey coloured patina and there is the usual scratching to the face of the board from use. There is a very tight, hairline crack to the rim of the board which extends about 7cm.

Dimensions: Diameter 29.2cm. Depth 1.8cm.
