Blue Transfer Printed Soup Plate

 A nineteenth century, blue transfer printed soup plate. This piece is unmarked but it is printed with a design from the Rose Border Series which was produced by Andrew Stevenson of Cobridge and it dates from c.1820. The central scene shows an ox cart with a church in the background and the print is very crisp and well detailed. It is in excellent condition.

Dimensions: Diameter 24cm. Depth 3.5cm.
