Unusual, Small Copper Casserole

A very unusual, and lovely quality, small copper casserole and cover. This is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper, and has castellated seams around the base and up the side. There are flat, strap handles to both sides of the pan and also to the lid and it is French, dating from c.1880. It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.

Dimensions: Height 10.2cm. Diameter 13.4cm. Overall width including the handles 22.8cm.
