Benham's Copper Pineapple Mould

A super quality, Victorian copper mould with a pineapple design to the top above fluted sides. This is marked with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams above the pattern number ’1A’. To the opposite end is a workman’s mark in the shape of a heart.  It is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1870. The pineapple is beautiful modelled with good detail and depth.The mould is in excellent condition and the tinning, to the interior, although slightly worn would be alright for occasional use.
