Moulded Basalt Jug

A small, Wedgwood, moulded, black basalt jug. This is marked “WEDGWOOD” and it dates from c.1830. It is quite an unusual shape, a squat, moulded form with nicely moulded, classical detail to the spout and handle. There is a small chip to the rim but other than that it is in good condition.

Dimensions: Height 7cm. Diameter 8cm. Width 13cm.
