George Butler Bread Knife

A Victorian, steel bread knife with a carved wooden handle. The handle is deeply carved, in beech wood, with flowers and wheat. The steel blade is marked “GEORGE BUTLER LTD SHEFFIELD ENGLAND ART.” and it dates from c.1900. It is also engraved with “Bread Knife” in ornate script. There is very slight pitting to the blade but otherwise it is in good condition.
