A good quality, English copper preserve pan. This is marked with the orb and cross symbol used by Benham’s and it dates from c.1880. It is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper, and it has the typical, English form of bronze handles to either side. It is in very good condition with just a little marking to the copper, on the base of the pan, from use.
Dimensions: Diameter of pan 37.8cm. Depth of pan 11.2cm Overall width including the handle 50.5cm. Overall height including the handles 13.7cm.
