Copper Saucepan Stamped "J.JEFFERY"

A Victorian copper saucepan and cover. This bears no manufacturers marks but it is English and dates from c.1880. The side is stamped “J.JEFFERY” and this would be the name of a previous owner. It is well made, from a very heavy gauge of copper, and it has castellated seams around the base and up the side. It has the typical English form of steel handle, with triangular fittings. There is some pitting to the copper on the base but otherwise it is in good condition. The interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used. 

Dimensions: Diameter of pan 16.9cm. Depth of pan 11.1cm. Overall length of pan and handle 33.5cm.
