Small, Victorian Copper Saucepan

Code: J21897

A small, Victorian copper saucepan and cover. This is English and dates from c.1870. To the base it is stamped with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams and a large letter ‘B’. It is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper, and it has castellated seams around the base and up the side. It has the typical English form of steel handle, with triangular fittings. There is very slight pitting to the copper, on the lid, but otherwise it is in very good condition. The interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
