A lovely quality, moulded pearlware jug with pink lustre decoration. This is an unusual moulding to find in this size. We have had it a number of times before but in a much smaller size. The jug is moulded with vertical bands which have stylised foliate edges and the rim of the jug is nicely shaped. The design is coloured in shades of pink lustre. It dates from c.1820 and it is in excellent condition. The lustre is still in very good, bright condition with only the slightest wear to the high points of the moulding.
