Wedgwood Blue Jasper Spill Vases

A pair of Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip spill vases. These are marked “WEDGWOOD” and they date from c.1860. They are also impressed with a letter ‘W’ and a number ‘7’ which relates to their size in inches.  Each one is decorated with two of the Muses standing between trees and foliage. To the rim is a band of scrolling flowers. The reliefs are all good quality and the jasper dip is a good, rich shade of blue. They are both in excellent condition.
