French Copper Sauté Pan & Cover

A fairly small, French copper, deep sauté pan and cover . This is stamped with a number ’20’ which relates to the diameter in centimetres. It is also marked with the initials ‘R.B’ to both the side of the pan and also to the lid and a further letter ‘C. ’ to the side of the pan . It is well made, from a very heavy gauge of copper, which has a slightly planished finish, and it dates from c.1880. There is a steel handle to the pan and a brass handle to the lid. There are a couple of very tiny dents to the lid but the pan is in excellent condition. The interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
