A super quality, large, 19th century, oval, copper baking dish. This is well made, from an exceptionally heavy gauge of copper and the copper has a planished finish. It has heavy, brass ring handles to either end and these are attached by heart shaped copper fittings. It is stamped with a number ’46’ which relates to the internal length in centimetres and it is French dating from c.1890. It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
