An attractive, pearlware jug with pink lustre and enamel decoration. This is English and it dates from c.1820. To the lower section of the jug is a band of grapes, vine leaves and large flowers which are hand painted in varying shades of pink lustre, and surrounding the flowers are green enamel leaves. Above this is a wide band of blue enamel with a narrow, central band of pink lustre decoration. There is some staining to the interior of the spout but the jug is in very good condition, with no chips, cracks or restoration.
