A small, French copper canele mould. Caneles are small French pastries, flavoured with rum and vanilla, with a caramelised crust and a soft centre. They can still be found in most bakers in France and are still made in the same shape. This mould is made from a substantial gauge of copper and it dates from the 1920’s. It is in very good condition but the tinning, to the interior, is slightly worn.
