A very unusual shaped, French copper champagne or wine cooler dating from c.1880. This is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper, and it has a castellated seam up the side. There is a substantial, folding brass handle which is attached by very neat brass fittings with copper rivets. It is in excellent condition.
