A lovely quality, Victorian, carved beechwood breadboard. This has a border which is well carved with stylised flowers and long leaves. This design is not uncommon but within the outer border is a narrow band of a geometric design which makes the board a lot more interesting. The outer border is quite deeply carved and the wood has a good, rich patina. There are a couple of small chips to the rim, which can be seen in the image, but otherwise it is in good condition.
