A nineteenth century, French copper egg whisking bowl. Usually bowls of this type have a brass, steel or copper loop attached for hanging but this one doesn’t. It is made from a very heavy gauge of cooper, has a rolled rim, and dates from c.1880. There is slight marking to the copper on the exterior and very slight pitting to the copper on the interior. There are also two small dents on the rim.
