Very Small Copper Omelette Pan

Code: J22683

A very small, 19th century, English copper omelette pan. This is marked, to the base, with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams and it dates from c.1880. This is a good quality, made from a substantial gauge of copper, but omelette pans were never very heavy as they were also used for making pancakes and you had to be able to toss the pancakes. There is pitting to the steel handle, from use, but otherwise the piece is in good condition. The interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.

Dimensions: Diameter of pan 18cm. Depth of pan 3.5cm. Overall length of pan and handle 33.4cm.
