A very good quality, late 19th century, small French copper casserole and cover. This is marked with a number ’20’ to both the side of the pan and also to the lid. This relates to the internal diameter of the casserole in centimetres. It is made from a very heavy gauge of copper, which has a slightly planished finish, and it dates from c.1890. It has the typical, French shape of brass handles to the sides and also to the lid and it is in excellent condition. The interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
